Modifications can be made for pregnant or postnatal women, however please contact us BEFORE booking as a medical clearance is required to participate.
$10 per person, per class.
SPECIALISED CLASSES:
Parents & Bubs Yoga
Suitable for Mums from 8 weeks for a traditional birth or 12 weeks for a surgical birth. But it's not all about Mums - all Parents, Mums, Dads, Partners and Grandparents are all welcome to bring little ones up to crawling stage. Focus is on spending quality time with your baby, while enjoying some much-needed Yoga . Feeding, crying, peeing and pooping expected. Changing and kitchen facilities plus a quiet area for feeding are available at our Geelong studio and if you need to feed or change your baby during class, you are welcome and encouraged to do so. In the interests of safety, once babies are crawling and mobile, this class will no longer be suitable.
Postnatal Yoga
Suitable for Mums from 8 weeks postpartum for a traditional birth or 12 weeks postpartum for a surgical birth. Focus is on strengthening the body after childbirth, releasing tightness from feeding and carrying baby, and enjoying a little time to yourself. Please note that a medical clearance may be required if you experienced any pregnancy or postnatal complications, so have a chat with us first if you're not sure.
Pregnancy Yoga
For mums-to-be from 14 weeks (start of second trimester) onwards. We focus on preparing your body and mind for birth, connecting with your baby and enjoying poses and sequences designed especially to help alleviate the challenges of and celebrate this special time. Please note that a medical clearance may be required if you are experiencing any complications, so have a chat with us first if you're not sure.
Retro Yoga
As the name would suggest - Yoga Asana sequenced to the very best tunes of the 80's and 90's. A stronger and more dynamic class, that is infrequently run but super fun!
